AIRFIELD M2 Townhouses Hobsonville

Comprising eight two-storey units, these townhouses were specified with concrete slab on grade at the ground and timber floors for the upper levels. The units are separated by two-storey pre-cast inter-tenancy walls. The external wall enclosure combines corrugated iron roofing and wall cladding, brick veneer, and Abodo vertical timber cladding.

The 6 Homestar rating is a noteworthy feature, achieved through diligent design, careful planning and efficient management during construction.

AULFONs early involvement in design buildability and cost engineering helped ensure an efficient flow of information, effective cost management and ease of buildability. Construction commenced as scheduled in June 2019 and was completed two months ahead of schedule in February 2020.
